Ground floor, stated plainly
Voxalone is new. That means real influence over how it is built, and the risk that goes with any young company. We will not dress either one up.
No handovers, no being sold into work you then have to deliver, no junior-stacking. We are a new company with no open roles yet — but if agency life has frustrated you from the inside, we would like to know you.
What we offer
Every company lists fruit and a social budget. These are the things that change what working here is like day to day.
Voxalone is new. That means real influence over how it is built, and the risk that goes with any young company. We will not dress either one up.
Remote-first with a few shared hours. We care what you deliver, not whether your status light is green.
Paid time plus a budget for courses, conferences and certifications. Taken, not merely offered.
We scope to a 40-hour week. Ongoing overtime is a planning failure on our side, not a commitment on yours.
Different sectors and problems, but projects long enough that you see the consequences of your decisions.
You will know what a project is worth and what it costs, so the commercial picture is not a mystery.
Open roles
Voxalone is a new company and we are not hiring yet. We would rather show an empty page than advertise roles that do not exist. When that changes, the vacancies will appear here first.
When the work supports it, the first roles are likely to be senior full-stack, AI/automation and React Native engineering — UK-based and remote-first. No visa sponsorship, which we would rather say now than at stage three.
If that is you, send a note to careers@voxalone.com with a CV or a link to your work. It reaches a founder, you will get a real reply, and we will tell you honestly where we are rather than holding you in a pipeline.
Send a speculative applicationHiring process
This is the process a role will run when one opens. You will know the salary before the first assessment, the practical exercise is paid, and you will always hear back — including a no.
Thirty minutes with someone who does the job you are applying for. You should be interviewing us just as hard.
A conversation about work you have actually done, including something that went wrong. No algorithm puzzles, no whiteboard.
A short, realistic task, paid at our standard rate. You keep whatever you produce and we never use it in client work.
Meet two or three people you would work with. Ask them the questions you would not ask a hiring manager.
Within two working days of the last stage, with the salary figure we told you at the start.
Candidate questions
Anything else, email careers@voxalone.com — it reaches a person, not an applicant tracking system.
Not yet, and we would rather say so than string people along. Our model puts people directly in front of clients, which is an unfair position for someone early in their career, and we are currently too small to mentor anyone properly. That should change as the company grows.
Yes, in the first conversation before any assessment. We think asking people to invest hours in a process without knowing the number is disrespectful of their time.
A few days a month, mostly at the start of a project for workshops. It is not a weekly commute, and we do not place people on client sites long term.
Yes — we will walk you through real architecture and code at the technical stage, within what client confidentiality allows. You should know what you are joining.
Yes. careers@voxalone.com reaches a founder directly. We are a new company and hiring will follow the work, so a speculative note now means you are already known to us when a role does open.
We would still like to hear from you. Tell us what you are good at and what you want to be doing in two years, and we will tell you honestly where Voxalone is and whether that is likely to line up.
We reply to every enquiry within one working day.
